There is a reality in the life of every believer that at one time or another one will have to go through a dry season. A season when nothing seems to be productive, nor is there any sign of things getting better. This can range from one’s marriage to their finances. This can be a very depressing time for a believer. We must come to understand that God never promised that we will never have to go through this type of season, but He did promise never to leave us nor to forsake us. It is at these moments where the Child of God must see that God is still sovereign and is still in control of our lives.
I encourage every believer not to give up during these seasons. God is ultimately working things according to His divine plan. There is a responsibility on the believer to maintain their level of integrity and not allow the circumstances around us to dictate what we place inside of us. God is not limited by outer circumstances and He has equipped His children with what we need to handle the “Dry Seasons.”

The Pursuit of Happiness
Are you carrying with you the desire to ultimately live a fulfilling life? You hear people constantly declare, “I just want to be happy”. There is not anything wrong with having this desire. In fact God has the same desire for His children. It would be very difficult for the Children of God to be of great influence in the World if they are living a miserable life. The challenge for many of us is the reality that we seek after the wrong things in order to gain happiness. We seek after money, relationships, cars, and other creature comforts to ultimately find out that it still leaves us with a void and spirit of emptiness.
